This book is written from the point of view of the airplane, and it tells its own story to the reader, from its assembly in a factory in Florida, to its arrival in New Zealand. There is an explanation for each word which may be outside a child's normal vocabulary range. This book will appeal to many children, including reluctant readers who are bored with traditional 'picture books'.
