Product Information

"If only all natural history books were as well-pitched as this introduction to the Loggerhead turtle. It's full of useful facts... a good read, too. Lots of turtle empathy, and illustrations full of soft tones and watery depth." The Independent

Nicola Davies graduated from King's College, Cambridge with an honours degree in Zoology, and went on to become a television and radio presenter (she is perhaps best known as a presenter of The Really Wild Show), writer and producer. Amongst her books for children are three other Walker titles, Big Blue Whale, Bat Loves the Night and Wild About Dolphins. Nicola lives in Devon with her family.
