Dog is trying to find a quiet place to sleep, but each time he thinks he has found just the place he is disturbed by falling apples, singing birds, chasing cats and lots of other calamities, each introducing a new letter of the alphabet.

Emma Dodd studied graphic design at Central St Martin's School of Art. She has illustrated several children's books - this one follows her first Puffin title: DOG'S COLOURFUL DAY. Emma lives in London.
